Saving Images From Email

Like most of us, you often get pictures from friends and family displayed in the body of your email, and not as a separate attachment.

But it is not always clear how to save the image if it is not attached as a separate file.

1. Place your cursor over the image in your email and right click. A menu box will appear.

2. Click on the option that says Save Picture As...

3. A "Save Picture" menu box will open. Look in the "Save in:" field at the top of the page. Browse to where you want to save your image.

In this same menu box, you may also want to chose a file name that you'll remember - just type what you want in the "File name:" field. Special note on animated GIFs - Make sure that the image ends in .gif. Some email programs change the .gif to .bmp which will not move. Simply rename it "whatever.gif".

4. Click on the Save button.

Saving Instant Downloads

1. Once you submit your purchase, your transaction is approved almost immediately - while you are still in the shopping cart.

As soon as you are approved, a red Download button will immediately appear in the small box in the upper right-hand corner that says "Your Order."

2. Click on this button and a "File Download" menu box will appear. It will ask, "Do you want to open or save this file?"

Click on the Save button.

3. When the "Save As" menu box opens, the name of your instant download should appear in the "File name:" at the bottom of the page.

Note: If downloading more than one image or collection of images - each will be downloaded sepately. The page will appear blank when each download is complete. Close the empty window and repeat step 2.

Remember where you save it!

To retrieve Images if you forget to click on the Download Button:

Open your confirmation email. Near the bottom you will find this sentence: "You can always find out the current status of your order by going to..." followed by a unique URL beginning: "https://order.store.yahoo.net...." followed by a string of numbers. Copy and paste the entire URL into the address bar of your browser. You will then be returned to the Order Status page. At the bottom you must enter your credit card number as identification. You will not be charged again. You will then be taken back to the page where the Download button is located near the top on right hand side.

If you can't retrieve your images from the site please send an email to help@catsclips.com and I will send them to you. I try to do this right away, however, I am not always on the computer so there may be a delay of an hour or more.
